⋆˚𝜗𝜚˚⋆ full transparency i have always had a low starting weight + a BIG part of my issue was inflammation / bloating. though, there’s still a 20lbs difference there! i’ll tackle it all in this thread

  3. #3

+ ofc, please do NOT interact if you’re not on #edrtwt . it is never worth it to start, no matter how promising my results are — my body / food is all my life revolves around. not worth it.

⋆˚𝜗𝜚˚⋆ diet unfortunately, the gym bros are right. abs are made in the kitchen. during the first month of this i ate STRICTLY at maintenance. And you diet absolutely has to be balanced. YOU CANNOT SKIP ON THIS.

an average day of eating for me would look like this. one gram of protein for every pound of your weight. (ie 100g for 100lbs) Carbs and fiber are also important, do not neglect them. Your body needs carbs to build muscle, fiber for gut health.

  6. #6

although that example isn’t the best, on average i’d TRY to eat clean, anti inflammatory, whole foods. i’d have days like that to prevent binges, but ALWAYS met my macros.

⋆˚𝜗𝜚˚⋆ supplements YOU GET YOUR ASS ON CREATINE RIGHT NEOW 🫵 3g was perfect for me to prevent bloating / water retention but also support muscle growth (+ added benefits for brain fog/long term neuro health) this brand is SOOO yummy

omega-3s, vitamin b12, magnesium and ashwaganda are my other favorites. magnesium is a natural laxative + puts you to sleep. obviously, ashwaganda lowers your cortisol which helps reduce the fat storage in your lower pooch. *ashwaganda also boosts your fertility so be careful

⋆˚𝜗𝜚˚⋆ steps + incline walking 10k steps is great, especially at maintenance so you’re still in a deficit. but yknow what’s greater? INCLINE WALKING. Same amount of steps, same amount of time — double or even triple the calories burnt. i do 15% grade at 3.5mph, you will

  10. #10

SWEATTT so be prepared, and work yourself up to that point. even a little grade on the treadmill burns extra calories. this is also what got me into hiking, more cals burnt + perfect distraction!!

⋆˚𝜗𝜚˚⋆ my workouts I know this is what you guys really want. So let’s talk about your transversus abdominis (TVA) this is your deepest layer of abdominal muscle — and wraps around your midsection like a natural corset. This is what I focus on training the most.

  12. #12

It’s crucial that you learn how to activate your deep core, and remember activate it while you’re working out. Here’s a video to help. I recommend following mothers/elderly woman fitness influencers for this stuff. They get it more than your gym bro. youtu.be/m0rcmCiIOuM?is…

With that — RESISTANCE TRAINING. I’m serious, I don’t do ANYTHING special. Dead bugs, boat holds, leg lifts, russian twists and planks. THATS IT. The difference between it is that I use weights. Usually I put a 5-10lbs weight between my feet for leg lifts / boat holds.

  14. #14

While planking & side planking I put a 5-10lbs plate on my back as well. I really enjoy this workout, but add weights!! And once those weights become easy, up the pounds!! youtu.be/lCrDZ5YR_7E?is…

    ⋆˚𝜗𝜚˚⋆ my average workout Warm up: Cardio for 20mins, 15% grade at 3.5 Dead big crunches 3x12 @ 10lbs Boat hold + pulse hands 3x12 @ 5lbs Leg lifts 3x12 @ 5lbs Russian twists till 3x failure @ 10lbs Plank 3x @ 5lbs till failure Side planks (both sides) 3x till failure

Cool down: Cardio, usually just go for a walk I usually repeat this once or twice, depending on the time. You can cable crunch or do dragon flys as well! I just don’t have that at my gym. I do this about 3x a week with rest days & plenty of water.

  17. #17

I only really workout glutes as well (I need to hit arms I just can’t be bothered) That’s just hip thrusts, bulgarian split squats and RDLs and the highest weight I can handle. 3x12 for each.

I am a busy bee but next time I hit the gym I’ll try to make a video tutorial. Sorry this isn’t super comprehensive as I’m trying to get this out asap :( Love you guys and thank you so much for the support!! Be safe!!
