If you live in the US and could spread around tweets alerting your country's attempts at interfering with Brazil's elections AND threatening it with a militia-coordinated coup if their chosen candidate doesnt win, it would be greatly appreciated.

Last year the US admin raised overall tarriffs on brazilian exports by 50% The reason behind it: when Lula was elected in 2022, the former president attempted a coup with his voters and the military to seize control of the government. Him and his cult were imprisoned short after.

-. When the admin claims there is persecution of free speech and the former president, they mean the insurrectionists who destroyed public offices and the man who lead them (who is the current US-backed candidate's FATHER) were arrested and prosecuted by brazilian law.

There is also a claim that Brazil is damaging american companies and economy. Why? Because of the Pix system implemented by the central bank, where quick transactions are made without extra charges by banks over them. It became the main source of transactions in the country.

The US admin released a list of 21 demands earlier this month for the tarriffs to be lifted. Amongst them were: compromise the Pix system, impunity for american companies who disrespect Brazil sanctions and control over the exploration of rare earths on brazilian soil.

The US designated the 2 biggest criminal organizations in Brazil as terrorist groups in May. Not necessarily a hostility towards Brazil until you realize "War on Terror" is often a justification used by the US government for military operations on international land.

Now lets move onto the alleged wrongdoings the candidate that has the US president openly advocate for and keeps friendly relations with.

Last year Brazil's biggest corruption and Banking scandal started. Banco Master is a private bank that during the 2018-2022 made a lot of money with complex illegal practices i am not prepared to cover. The point is that many government officials were discovered to have ties-

-with the bank's owner, Daniel Vorcaro. While he was being investigated for money laundering and fraud after liquidating his bank, the US-backed candidate was asking him for ~25 million dollars to "help produce a movie about his father", 12 million of which were actually sent. -

When that news broke, he first denied ever being involved with Vorcaro. Later he changed his story to say that it was a "private investment" that no public media should investigate. The Banco Master case is still ongoing, but when pressed about it, he claims its a "shut case".

It is still a mystery as to how that 25 million budget was being used, but no brazilian movie has ever even reached that level of investment before.

In 2019, he was being investigated for buying up to 19 properties for ~2 million dollars and then reselling them for insane profits (some for 200% profit). Impossible with just a congressman salary (which he was at the time).

He was also investigated for using a chocolate store of which he was an associate that presented consistent high profits all-year made by purchases in physical cash for money laundry. Something that is also nearly impossible to happen.

His brother, seen on the first picture of this thread, was LET GO of his job as congressman for working less than the minimal hours necessary. During his mandate he only appeared for 15 of the 78 mandatory sessions.

Now he lives in Texas, supposedly unemployed, but living in a million-dollar property in a closed community. He every-so-often also meets with the US president and other officials.

Going back to the candidate. He publicly campaigned for Rodrigo Bacellar, a congressman and former president of Rio's Legislative Assembly, acused/indicted of working for one of the so-called by the US terrorist groups.

And this is why brazilian people feel like a candidate that seems to have ties with the US and the criminal groups they so desperately want to label terrorists, whose history shows is corrupt and untrustworthy, could let the US do as they please with the country.
