I was out for a jog last night and spotted this boy. He is tiny and I could tell he was utterly broken from living on the streets. I couldn’t get him out of my head so we went back today… (1/7) 🧵

I could see yesterday there were some very serious issues. But I didn’t have anything with me to catch or bring the dog in. I thought it was a she but it was actually a he and his neck was bleeding (2/7)

I went back today with back up and found him. This is a dog who has had the life sucked out of him by ticks and illness. He was living on a building site that just finished. The workers left so he was alone and hungry. He had nothing (3/7)

  4. #4

The team were able to get him straight into our hospital for treatment. He badly needed it (4/7)

  5. #5

He has a lot of issues like anemia, blood parasites and other illnesses making him weak. Out of all the treatments though giving him a good wash felt the best. His eyes show his pain (5/7)

He is absolutely tiny. I called him Jimbo. His ears did not come with an instruction manual either (6/7)

24 hours ago he was on the streets alone and broken. Jimbo is only a young boy if about 2 but he looks ancient from the pain. Tonight he is full of medicines and good healthy food. He’s as clean as a whistle and his bed is extra comfy. The comeback has started ❤️ (7/7)
