A kind neighbor had been sneaking in to feed and give the dog water. He’s been living in his own mess on a chain less than a yard long. Apparently this was because he was vicious (2/8)

I can’t explain how bad the smell was for the poor dog. I have to be careful obviously but the tail told me this was not a vicious dog (3/8)

He is in absolute agony with his skin and I could see he had a lot of issues. Believe it or not the dog is owned. That’s going to be a whole different issue for us to sort. For now it was a case of get the dog out of there asap (4/8)

He has so many issues it’s very hard to know where to start. He even has an ear infection that was left so long we believe her could be deaf. He has lots of meds and pain relief started already (5/8)

His ears have also been clipped. You can feel the pain just looking at him. (6/8)

I called him… Maximus Decimus Meridius. Or Max for short. I want him to look as good as Russel Crowe did in the movie. I’ll build him back up into a big proud boy and try change his life (7/8)
