🚨I just introduced a resolution condemning the atrocities Christians are facing in Nigeria & supporting @POTUS' efforts to defend Christians who are being slaughtered. This is just a first step....
Summary
A U.S. congressman introduced a resolution condemning the persecution and killing of Christians in Nigeria, where an estimated 7,000 Christians were killed in one year and over 50,000-100,000 since 2009. The resolution supports the Biden administration's redesignation of Nigeria as a Country of Particular Concern and calls for stronger U.S. action to address what the author describes as deliberate campaigns of religious cleansing.
