    1) Get artwork done of your OC . I don’t think I can genuinely describe how awesome the feeling is when you receive your vision! You’re also supporting another person & their dream, isn’t that cool? I personally use vgen.co as I find it easy to use .

    2) Picrew . I think everyone has heard of picrew.me & that’s for a good reason β€”β€” it’s a great resource for especially headshots ( though there are still full body ones ) which can work good for reaction images or pfps!

    3) Meiker . meiker.io I think is really slept on as a resource. I find it has a lot more full body image makers which aren’t just chibis which you can use β€”β€” it works similarly to Picrew!

    4) Heroforge . Heroforge.com lets you make 3D models in your browser with various body types, poses, weaponry, gear β€”β€” a lot. you can even get it printed out & sent to you! there’s loads of communities online too which provide poses people can use & more .

    5) Eldritch Foundry . eldritch-foundry.com also is an in - browser model maker which helps you create a 3D model of your character. it’s quite in depth but great if you love detail .

  7. #7

    6) Charat . charat.me has a lot of character creations which are primarily around anime & chibi characters. there’s a lot of options if you’re looking for something for cute!

    7) DollDivine . dolldivine.com has been around for years ( literally years ) & has everything you can think of at this point. there are plenty of male options despite the name too!

  9. #9

    8) Neka . neka.cc is another maker website, similar to Picrew, which has a lot of maker games for you to create characters with. it’s not one I’ve personally used but is rated quite highly online!

  10. #10

    9) Reroll . while it is designed for D&D characters, the Reroll app allows you to make a little pixel avatar of your character ( & a character sheet too if you were interested ). HOWEVER do remember there is a free & paid version .

  11. #11

    10) In - game character creators . there’s a lot of great character creators in games β€”β€” for example BG3 or FFXIV for fantasy, WWM for its free in depth nature, Code Vein for more of an anime style β€”β€” you may already have access to a character creator in your library!

  12. #12

    11) FCs . okay, it may not be " your " character ( unless you were to make edits, maybe ) but it means you have a whole host of images to use. it’s perfectly fine to use an FC as loads of people do! comics, anime, video games have loads of options for you to choose from .

  13. #13

    12) Draw ! it’s pretty daunting to learn a new skill. but drawing is free! if you want digital, sketchbook is free. there’s loads of tutorials online & you’ll only ever get better through practice. just remember it takes time!
