adults, the three shows it constantly gets compared to and whether any of them are worth watching - a short, but a little bitchy thread

I do think adults is the funniest modern tv show I've ever watched and I don't trust anyone who says otherwise. the found family, the characters as individuals and the storylines in general are just what make this show. also, the comedic acting is so good

there was potential here, but it just fell flat. first of all, none of them are gay???? boring as hell. second of all, I hate davis so fucking much that seeing his face just pisses me off. loooove the girls tho. it got cancelled and that doesn't really move me one way or another

these characters are very messy but also entertaining. I didn't actually like any of the characters really, which I think it's kind of the appeal of the show. there's no found family here, these people are friends but kind of hate each other at the same time

very uncomfortable watch, incredibly cringe characters. the only interesting thing about the main guy is his sister. even his gayness is boring. the main girl is way more interesting but she's also a mess but that's okay bc she's my friend

in short, if you love adults and want something with similar vibes, don't watch any of these. watch new girl. that's what you need
