since so many of you liked how my genshin looks, here’s a little thread on the nvidia filters i use ♡ yes, i play genshin on a macbook 😭 and this is basically how i make the game look much more vibrant + pretty without actually changing the game itself continued

first, how am i even playing genshin on a macbook? i use nvidia geforce now cloud gaming! i used the free version before, but i currently have the performance subscription, which is around $10/month / ₹999 for me, pricing can vary depending on your region!!

  3. #3

you don’t necessarily need the paid subscription just for the filters btw! as far as i know, nvidia filters can also be available through geforce now free tier, and if you play normally on a pc with a supported nvidia graphics card, you can use them there too ♡

here are my brightness / contrast settings: ✦ exposure: 0 ✦ contrast: -2 ✦ highlights: 42 ✦ shadows: 4 ✦ gamma: -14 these are probably the biggest reason my game has that bright but still slightly deep/contrasty look

  5. #5

my details settings: ✦ sharpen: 46 ✦ clarity: -32 ✦ hdr toning: 8 ✦ bloom: 8 i keep clarity pretty low because i personally don’t like when genshin looks extremely harsh/crunchy 😭 i still want it to look soft

then i use another sharpen filter: ✦ intensity: 55 ✦ ignore film grain: 79 and finally, color: ✦ tint color: 0 ✦ tint intensity: 10 ✦ temperature: -4 ✦ vibrance: 100 yes the vibrance is fighting for its life at 100 lol

the video is the with filter vs without filter comparison so you can actually see how much of a difference it makes!

without it, genshin looks way more muted on my screen. with the filters, the colors pop sooo much more and everything feels prettier without changing any actual game files ♡ feel free to copy my settings and adjust them depending on your screen!! (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)
