A megathread documenting the most deranged era of our time 🧵🧵🧵 When AOC declared woke over and dismissively laughed that "Woke 1 was crazzzy", she was sending a calculated signal to the Leftist rank & file that "Woke" was now more of a political liability than a help and it was time to pivot from "its not happening" to "ok it was happening but it wasnt that bad, can we just move on now?" The online hordes clearly understood the assignment, as the online space is full of ppl either dismissing Woke as "just some online kooks " and pretending not to understand what Woke even was (thus making discourse impossible). They will adopt a "gotcha" strategy where they will demand to know on the spot exactly what was so bad about Woke and when you dont have an itemized list in bullet points at the ready, will dismiss your entire argument that Woke was bad. So here I'm creating a thread so you can all bookmark it and use it anytime says "Woke wasnt that big a deal", "it was just online kooks", or "it was just about having empathy and being kind". You will notice not one of the examples in this thread are "online kooks". Almost every single one is a major media company. Despite the catastrophic reputational loss of the last two decades, these companies are still very powerful and influential, and since most of the public still mindlessly outsources their thinking to the media, they play a key role in shaping public opinion. Keep that in mind as you read some to the deranged things these psychopaths were pushing on us. If in the future, someone wants to study how, when and why the mainstream media pivoted from Neutral Arbiter of Truth to Culture Warrior, Narrative Shaper and Social Engineer, this thread would be a valuable resource. So without further ado, what IS Woke?

Woke was believing black ppl are so mentally weak and inferior (a common theme of this thread) that activists pressured companies to stop accurately describing their products for fear of what seeing the word "white" might do to their fragile intellects

Woke was explicitly using the word "genocide" in the genocide planning, just so everyone heard the message loud and clear

It was canceling Moazart

Woke was firing museum curators for working with white artists

Woke was warning parents that Paw Patrol was fascist

Woke was insisting on capitalizing "black" when referring to black people because they have a "shared sense of history, identity and community" "white" will remain uncapitalized because white people - being the soulless, rootless, disgusting ghouls that they are - do not

Woke was accusing fast food companies of killing black people because.....salt

Woke was telling a little three y/o boy that he wasn't a boy, he was actually a girl trapped in a boy's body, and the cure for such a condition was blocking his puberty and perhaps castrating him

Woke was making an entire reality show around another little boy who was told he was a girl. When he was 16, his castration surgery provided content for the show

Woke was blaming white people for killing minorities because they have to breathe

Woke was this story on Tremayne Carroll, a violent California male prisoner, documenting his legal fight to be housed with female prisoners, and the discrimination "she" faced being housed with men. Not long after this piece was written, Tremayne won his court battle and was moved to the womens prison

.......where he promptly raped two female cell mates of his. Woke was using the child-like drawing of a pleasant middle-aged black person of ambiguous sex in the previous story, because they knew using Tremaynes actual picture would make the reader less sympathetic if they knew "she" was actually a hulking, extremely malevolent looking 6'2 psychopath

And when Tremayne was brought up on charges for those rapes, it was Woke that demanded those two rape victims refer to their rapist as a female and use She/Her pronouns for him in court

Woke was telling white people they're racist if they're attracted to black people

Woke was telling white people they're racist if they're NOT attracted to black people

Woke was telling black people they're dumb and it would be unfair to hold them to the same academic standards as white people

.....and that they're inferior musicians too

Woke was when a breakfast company apologized for hiring a black woman as the face of their brand, for the purpose of "forward progress on racial equality ". Woke did not explain exactly HOW this move makes any progress towards racial equality

Woke was when a rice company also decided they did not want black people on their packaging, so they removed the beloved black face of their brand. They did this so no more black people would be killed by cops. Woke did not explain HOW this move would affect the number of black people being killed by cops

Woke was when you had to attend this woman's class - where she would call you racist and demand you send her money for 6 hours - in order to keep your job

Woke was when doctors advising their obese black patients was white supremacy

Woke was when Very Serious People were Very Concerned about the skin color of the People who made their beer

Woke was canceling Abraham Lincoln for the crime of .....*checks notes*..... freeing the slaves

Woke was The Unbearable Whiteness era

Woke was when white people were told it was racist to be polite to black people

And all of this nonsense is really just scratching the surface. Seeing it all collected here in one place, its easy to see how deeply malignant, divisive and hateful Woke was, and how dysfunctional and disordered the people who pushed it on society for so long must be. It is clear these ppl should never be allowed to take power. Seeing this laid out, its no wonder racial tensions and racial divisiness have been on the rise. Its coming FROM the "anti racists". There wasnt enough actual racism in society for the Far Left to retain relevance and so they spend decades creating as much of it as they can. So next time someone tries to dismiss "Woke" or laugh it off as some online kooks, or maybe "well meaning kindness that just went too far" dont allow them to sweep this under the rug. Only by fully realizing how grotesque and malevolent this movement (and the people who pushed it) was can we ever hope to prevent it from coming back
