Fields of Mistria tips & tricks thread!!!!!!!!! 🌱

  2. #2

some of these tips might be SUPER obvious but I wanted to compile little quality of life tricks!! only 3 tips right now but will be updating <3 (also I feel like I've gotten good at finding whatever I need in the mines, so if you're looking for a mine item I can help!!! <3)

  3. #3

    1. if you're looking for a certain bug, enter and leave the Summit repeatedly to refresh the area, you're guaranteed 1-2 bugs each refresh so you'll easily get what you need in a few minutes 🦋🐛🐝🐌

  4. #4

    2. similarly, if you're okay with save-'scumming', save the game at the journal in your house before smithing any armour and weapons, then reload the 'book' save until you get whichever infusions you're looking for!! ⛏️

  5. #5

    3. disable lower perks at the caldarus statue once you get the higher respective perk - e.g once you unlock 'lovable cooking' it is a good idea to disable 'liked cooking'. each cooked dish pulls from the full pool & only having 'loved cooking' on will produce a higher proportion

  6. #6

    4. not a tip, but back in early access I often saw people asking for organisation inspiration, so incase it helps anyone this set up has been very intuitive personally!! keeping at least one of everything really helps with quests!! these large chests are purchasable from weedle

  7. #7

    5. don't kill mimics!! throw any item at a mimic in the mines and it will eat your item and spit out a gift (furniture, clothing, recipes or food) and the mimic will disappear afterwards. at level 45 combat you can upgrade the mimic to return two items

  8. #8

    6. more chest tips!! chests got a lot of new features since early access, the ability to automatically sort matching items into a chest (and label it!!) is such a quality of life improvement I love the devs so much

  9. #9

    7. if you're short on essence you can dig the ground over and over!! I sometimes do this with any left over stamina at the end of the day, you can do this with any 'size' shovel and the ground doesn't have to be cleared since you can dig under trees, grass, decor & rubble

  10. #10

    8. for making tesserae you can craft faux plants or purchase the seed maker and put crops into it! 4 'raw' strawberries sell for 500g 4 strawberries turned into one faux plant sells for 550g 4 strawberries turned into seeds can make between 4-12 seed bags, making 600-1800g

    9. despite my last tip implying you shouldn't sell 'raw' crops (always cook them, make faux plants or best yet, turn them to seeds), it is always a good idea to sell at least ONE of every crop & forgeable item from a season as you will often receive cooking recipes in the mail

    10. artifacts aren't randomly placed on the map; each section of the map typically corresponds to one museum set. i'm compiling a google sheets checklist for all 4 museum branches, i'll post the link when it's done but here is a screenshot of the archaeology checklist for now!!
