Let me be absolutely clear: the brilliant boys who secured Mathematics Gold in Rome today deserve every single bit of the national applause they are getting! 🏆🇮🇹 They have made us unforgettably proud. But their victory actually proves a beautiful, larger truth... (1/3)

We need our strongest voices to amplify a historic milestone! 🗣️🇳🇬 @firstladyship, please join us in shining a massive light on another phenomenal Nigerian child taking on the world stage. Meet Adeolu Damilola Oreofe from St. Lawrence Metropolitan College. 🧵👇

Champions are not born on the world stage; they are prepared long before the spotlight. As one of the teachers who had the privilege of guiding Adeolu Oluwadamilola Oreofe during her foundational years, seeing her rise from our classrooms to the global stage fills my heart

Huge congratulations to these brilliant young minds flying the Nigerian flag high in Rome! 🇳🇬✨ Our children are proving globally that Nigeria is a powerhouse of intellect and talent. As we celebrate this massive STEM victory, we must also shine the spotlight on another

The work of @winexviv has reignited a national conversation about celebrating academic excellence. As Nigeria celebrates our young heroes from Rome, another group is preparing to represent us globally. One of them is my former student, Adeolu Damilola Oreofe.🇳🇬

The boys in Rome inspired a nation. Now it's time for Team Nigeria to write the next chapter in Shanghai. 🇳🇬📚🏆 From departure to competition day and, by God's grace, the victory celebration, I'll be sharing every moment right here. Follow @iAm_d3Lmart for exclusive,

Imagine if Nigeria celebrated academic excellence with the same energy we give football, music and entertainment. Imagine millions of Nigerians eagerly waiting to welcome home young scholars who represented our country on the world stage. I believe that day will come. 🇳🇬 (1/6)

This is exactly the mindset we must outgrow as a nation. Celebrating one Nigerian child's success does not diminish another's achievement. I celebrated our boys in Rome, and I'll celebrate Damilola and Team Nigeria heading to Shanghai with the same energy.

King Delmart | Lumina Minds@iAm_d3Lmart · Jul 8, 2026

This is exactly the Nigeria we must intentionally build. A nation where children are celebrated not only for excelling in sports, music or entertainment, but also for academic excellence. Every gifted child deserves a platform to shine. 🇳🇬📚 (1/4)

Before Nigerians knew her as the African Spelling Bee Junior Champion, Adeolu Damilola Oreofe was simply a determined young girl chasing a dream. What many people don't know is that her journey to Harare, Zimbabwe, wasn't an easy one. 🧵🇳🇬

A few days ago, thousands of people celebrated a young Nigerian girl named Damilola. They saw the medals. They saw the smiles. They saw the moment. But very few saw the investment that made that moment possible.

Imagine being brilliant enough to compete... But not being able to because your parents simply can't afford the registration fee. For many children, this is a reality. That's why we launched the Spellionaire™️ 1000 Children Initiative. 👇🏽

I hate begging. I hate being pitied. I don't want to remain on the receiving end for too long because I also want to be a giver. I've always believed in putting humanity first. Everything I do is driven by a desire to contribute my own quota to making society better. I'm not financially buoyant enough to do everything I dream of doing, but I have never allowed that to stop me. I simply do the little I can from where I am. For years, I've worked with young people, investing my time, energy, and resources into helping them discover their potential. My dream has always been to see a society where every child, regardless of background, has a fair opportunity to succeed. Oluwadamilola Oreofe Adeolu was my student in JSS2 and JSS3. Today, she's in SS2, preparing for SS3, and I still consider it my responsibility to share her story with Nigerians because I know there are countless other brilliant children like her waiting for someone to believe in them. I want to do more. I wish I could do more. And I'm determined to do much more. I've met so many brilliant Damilolas and Oreoluwas whose only missing piece is someone willing to invest in their potential and give them a platform to believe in themselves. That is why we launched the Spellionaire™️ 1000 Children Initiative a mission to sponsor 1,000 children to participate in Spellionaire™️ Abuja 2026. If you're moved to sponsor just one child on this journey, please send an email to spellionairebee@gmail.com or send me a DM. Spellionaire™️ Empowering Minds. Inspiring Excellence. My Youth Leadership Journey: Where It All Began Every journey has a starting point. Mine officially began in 2014 when I relocated to Abuja after completing my NYSC, but the passion behind it started many years earlier. As a young boy growing up in Asaba, football was my first love. I wasn't just playing for fun I dreamed of becoming a professional footballer. At just 16 years old, my teammates and I travelled from Asaba to Enugu for football camps, tournaments, and trials, hoping to earn our breakthrough. Like the story of many talented Nigerian youths, that dream never came to pass. At the time, I saw it as a disappointment. Today, I see it as a redirection. When I arrived in Abuja in 2014, I found myself coaching and mentoring young boys through football. Looking back now, I realize I wasn't just teaching them how to play the game; I was learning how to lead people. Every training session became an opportunity to instill discipline, teamwork, resilience, confidence, and character. Those football fields became my first classroom in youth leadership. From there, my journey continued in church, where I joined the teaching team in the Teens Church. Working with teenagers week after week expanded my understanding of mentorship and youth development. It taught me that leadership is not about having followers; it's about helping others discover who they can become. The next phase of my journey took me into the classroom as a teacher. Standing before students every day strengthened my belief that education remains one of the most powerful tools for transforming lives. Years later, seeing some of my former students making remarkable strides fills my heart with gratitude. @Oluwadamilhb the African Spelling Bee Champion, is currently representing Nigeria as one of the four student delegates on Team Nigeria at the Spelling Bee World Cup in Shanghai, China. Another former student, Oreoluwa Alayande, emerged as the @MTNNG mPulse Spelling Bee Champion. Their success, alongside that of many other students I have been privileged to mentor, reminds me that every seed of mentorship has the potential to produce extraordinary results. This has always been my vision. To mentor and raise a generation of confident, literate, purpose-driven, and globally competitive young people who will make meaningful contributions to society. That vision is the reason I continue to serve. It is the reason I teach. It is the reason I mentor. It is the reason I founded Spellionaire™️. The dreams I couldn't achieve have not become my regrets; they have become my motivation to help others achieve theirs. If my own journey has taught me anything, it is this: Sometimes, the dream you lose becomes the purpose through which you help hundreds of others find theirs.
