Victory. No more taxpayer-backed home loans for illegal aliens. This is one of those things you can't believe was actually happening. American citizens are struggling to buy homes while mass migration drives up prices and strains the housing supply. 🧵

  2. #2

Mass migration is driving up home prices: HUD report shows foreign-born residents fueled over half of owner-occupied housing growth in CA & NY, spiking costs for American buyers. This move by @SecretaryTurner ends American taxpayers paying for housing for illegals.

Illegal aliens were never eligible, but the Biden administration bent the rules. Secretary Turner is fixing it with audits and DHS checks. Americans who play by the rules, stay prioritized.

Let's be clear: Illegal aliens were never supposed to get these benefits. But the Left will break anything in its path to subvert the rule of law.

Secretary Turner's actions will help Americans thrive: With Congress fully funding ICE and CBP we can secure our borders, supercharge deportations, dismantle sanctuary city nonsense, and focus on putting Americans First.

The Senate just passed my provision to put an end to one of the most indefensible public-safety failures in America—criminal illegal aliens sitting in jail then released into American neighborhoods by Democrat politicians because of sanctuary policies. In 2025 alone, sanctuary cities and states released nearly 18,000 aliens from custody instead of transferring them to ICE. That is a betrayal of every American family forced to live with the consequences. My provision supercharges ICE with the resources it needs to meet these criminals at the jailhouse door and arrest them the second they're released. If sanctuary cities will not protect their people, ICE will have the resources to do the job. This is a major victory for public safety, border security, and the rule of law.

Housing shortages come from mass immigration driving up demand. Policies like these will help stabilize rents and make homes more affordable for working Americans.

Critics will call it cruel. It’s common sense. Taxpayer dollars for American taxpayers. I'm proud to support President Trump and Secretary Turner putting YOU first.
