Given the horrors we have seen in Sydney, it’s important that I share a video I took this past Friday. It was on London’s Park Lane, one of the poshest streets in the world. A crowd of hundreds of men scream “ALLAHU AKHBAR” & demand the release of a literal Jihadist terrorist 🧵

These monsters are demanding the release, from an Italian prison, of Najmadin Faraj Ahmad, better known as Mullah Krekar. He is a Kurdish jihadist who founded Ansar Al-Islam, a short-lived Islamic statelet that imposed strict sharia law on Kurdish villages in the early 2000s.

During the liberation of Iraq in 2003, Operation Viking Hammer saw the defeat of this group by the amazing secular Kurdish Peshmerga working with American special forces units.

Despite this heavy defeat, the group has since conducted multiple terrorist attacks. Their victims include an Australian, the ABC photojournalist Paul Moran, in a suicide car bombing. Two days before this Bondi Beach attack, supporters of the founder of a group behind the murder of another Australian were marching through central London.

After their defeat in Kurdistan, Mullah Krekar was arrested in the Netherlands and sent back Norway, a country that had previously let him in as, you guessed it, a refugee back in 1991. This status had been revoked because of the amount of time he’d been spending back in Iraq, the same county from which he’d claimed asylum. During his time in Norway, he made multiple death threats against politicians of the nation that had welcomed him in. He also issued fatwas against authors.

Krekar, the man lionised by the many hundreds strong mob who marched through London this week, is on record as saying that Osama bin Laden is the "jewel in the crown of Islam" and that he was proud of what Abu Musab al-Zarqawi "has done and that he has become a martyr".

Many efforts were made to imprison or deport this man from Norway, who once said that there weren’t yet enough Muslims in Norway to vote as a bloc, so Muslims in Norway should vote for socialist parties.

In 2019, Krekar was found to be the leader of a Jihadi cell called Rawti Shax. He was extradited from Norway to Italy, and sentenced to 12 years in prison.

This is the jihadi terrorist whom hundreds of Islamists were allowed to march freely through London for on Friday. @MayorofLondon why is this allowed to happen? @ShabanaMahmood can you confirm that all of these hundreds of men are on a watchlist now?

This is the full footage I took. Hundreds and hundreds of men protesting for a convicted jihadist terrorist. The next victims are on the hands of all those who don’t stop this madness.
