    First, some have speculated that "bullets do weird things in bodies" (without understanding the physics involved). The blue dotted line is the path the bullet would have taken if shot from the Losee bldg position. The black line traces the needed deflection to hit solid bone

    Leaving aside the fact that the bullet would not, could not, have instantly deflected upon striking soft neck tissue, the calculations for the force required to turn it 20 degrees within, say, an inch are astronomical. It would take 74 KN, or 16,800 pounds of offsetting force.

    In conclusion, since the human head is only about 12 pounds, say 20 pounds with the neck, we are left very far short of explaining how a bullet could have magically taken a hard turn in Charlie's neck. I don't do magic bullet theories anymore. Physics only.
