Jam is our animal care specialist who works with me. She is the other one putting in the long hours getting her trust. I’m not ashamed to say she is further along than me. Probably because I had to do the scary parts at the start with Chance (2/6)

I’m n the left is Chance’s wounds today. Superb healing compared to the photo on the right. The vet wanted to wait 2 more days and one last round of cleaning before stitching them up. (3/6)

Chance stays 99% indoors. But we found a new system with a longer leash she likes as she refused to walk with a human. He little “dress” is to stop licking her wounds (4/6)

Chance is still very wary of humans but there is a changing in her body language. She still likes her little corner and that’s fine. Good pain relief, healing wounds and great food means she is getting better physically (5/6)

The eyes are still on high alert. You can’t blame her after being stabbed twice. But you can see the tiniest bit of hope there now. Chance is starting to think “I might just be ok here after all” 🙏🥰 (6/6)
