Summary

A street dog rescue worker discovered that a dog named Chance was likely stabbed with a knife after examining deep, precise wounds on her body that matched similar wounds found on another rescued dog (Hope) from two years prior. The dog is now safe and recovering, and the rescuer believes someone may be deliberately injuring the dogs in the area, possibly as a warning after a mysterious 'No entry' sign appeared near where the dogs were being fed.

We made some shocking discoveries on Chance today. It’s been a good day for her in general but I now understand why this street dog is so scared. I now believe Chance was attacked…(1/8) 🧵

I talked to someone who knows these things. The holes are 6/7cm or 2/3 inches deep. Very straight and perfect incisions. More than likely a knife 🔪 (2/8)

I went back to check on her daughter Hope and her photos when I saved her 2 years ago. There was the nail you can see but also the EXACT same knife wounds on her neck. Not as deep but 2 deep slices. (3/8)

I got thinking more and I then remembered a “No entry” sign appeared 3 weeks ago where Chance lives in the jungle. It’s where I feed the dogs including Hope and Chance. I didn’t think it was aimed at me at the time (4/8)

It’s all obvious now in my head. I wished I’d worked it out sooner but I feed 100 dogs daily and manage many others. I just sat down and it all lined up perfectly in my head. I believe Chance has been stabbed like Hope was. (5/8)

The good news is she is now safe with us and healing. I remember thinking Hope could have been killed also but it’s as if someone’s wants to hurt the dogs but not kill them That probably explains Chance’s eyes even today(6/8)
