    After a day off from wound cleaning she had to get a big clean up today. I think she sort of knows the process now but it’s agony for her (2/7)

    I don’t want to show the full detail but you can see this is not a small wound. It is getting lovely and clean but the vets want to wait another 2 days before stitching it up. To think she had this injury on the streets with maggots inside it 😩 (3/7)

    Poor chance is dealing 50% with the pain and 50% being in this scary new place. How the wound missed all the organs is a miracle. If we hadn’t caught her she would be dead by now (4/7)

    Chance is all patched up for the day and has good pain relief and all the meds she needs. The vets are very happy and confident but just it will take a couple more cleans before the operation (5/7)

    Chance is eating well and drinking lots of water. We’ve tried to build her a little safe area. She still snaps at new people but he guard is coming down very slowly (6/7)
