I found this little guy on the streets on Friday. He was absolutely filthy and in a lot of pain. You won’t believe how well he looks 48 hours later. Also he’s the biggest character I’ve ever come across… (1/8) 🧵

You can see all the 100s of ticks sucking on his blood. They were on his skin, in his ears and even between his toes. He was also absolutely filthy. Like he’d been doused in oil or grime. (2/8)

I don’t mind saying I was scared of him at first. He had a stocky build and a big jaw and had a scary look. I’ve had enough chomps into my arm to know to be careful. He’s in a lot of pain. (3/8)

I wouldn’t say he was a huge fan of his bath but my god did it make a difference to him. Along with some medicines all the ticks are now gone. It turns out he is a giant softie (4/8)

I called him Tom Cruise as he is a little vertically challenged but all action. We think he had an accident when younger that wasn’t treated hence his stiff leg. He gets an x ray tomorrow. I think his walk is spectacular (5/8)

I’ve never seen a dog settle in as quick. He adores humans and just latches onto any of us. I think he feels fantastic after just 48 hours off the streets and the aircon and fan help! (6/8)

I think his legs are about 2 inches long each max. He just can’t seem to stop smiling though. Today he got his first ever bandana (7/8)
