I worked on the Sonic 3 End credits. I did the character modeling and animation work ALL WORK IS OWNED BY PARAMOUNT, SEGA, AND PICTUREMILL a Thread 🧵 #SonicMovie3 #lowpoly

I was contacted by Picturemill in late August to work on the film. They provided me with Sonic the Fighters models that I needed to Edit and create animations for them. I was only tasked to work on the characters. all environment and shot stuff was done by Picturemill.

I wanted to Use the sonic Adventure Idle animations for the cast for the intro. originally we had them jumping out of portals looking at themselves but we needed spaces for the Credits text.

The running animations are more based one on the film rather than sonic adventure. Sometimes basing animations off the movies was the decision over game references. lookit that Knuckles sliiide. (side note. it's too bad they didn't use the old Sonic stopping sound)

The Chao's had the most feedback from any other model for some reason. I am unsure if the colored ones in the back are significant but we were told to put em there.

This shot was animated by @tv16bit while I was away from the project :) I did make the background computers, bike, and I tried sneaking in a Virtua fighter cabinet and a Dreamcast but they said no.

Late into the project they asked to put shadows bike in. Its based on the film bike and not the game one. I think cause Keanu Reeves bikes look like this but that's just speculation on my part. also I modeld and animated the Crab :)

Robotniks dancing. This shot was beloved by the project leads cause funny dancing. The dancing's loosely based on Jim Carry's dancing from the first film and general disco moves. @LeeMajdoub that is you in the back with your Latte on the DJ table. you have Robotnick headphones
