If you’ve been active on crypto Twitter in the past few weeks, you've probably read stories like the one below. Someone invested $25 USD in $PEPE two weeks ago and is now a millionaire: (2/13)

1/ This guy is really good at trading shitcoins! He bought 2.52T $PEPE($816K currently) with 0.013 $ETH($25), which made him a 32,000X profit. He has traded 3,000+ shitcoins in the past 2+ years and probably realized ~$2M in profit. Here are partially profitable tokens.

When you hear stories like this, it's easy to become envious and have a sense of regret. And this is nothing new. (3/13)

You saw Bored Ape Yacht Club back then and didn't mint? Regret. You bought $PEPE but sold too soon? Regret. You bought another memecoin that went to zero? Regret. (4/13)

Regret is a natural feeling. Even if you won big, you can feel regret. You invested 1 ETH and turned it into 10 ETH? LFG. But wait, the same amount would be worth 50 ETH now? Regret. (5/13)

This is the reason why in life and especially in crypto it’s hard to never feel regret. No matter how active you are, you always miss one or the other opportunity. (6/13)

Therefore, regret is not necessarily bad. It is part of the game. However, some people channel their regrets into hate and jealousy. (7/13)

"I hate these stupid monkey NFTs", "I hate this stupid memecoin", "The NFTs and memecoins I own are so much better". Thoughts like this are not productive. (8/13)

Neither is letting your regrets degenerate into FOMO. "Wow all these people on Crypto Twitter are making millions with memecoins, I need to invest my money in a new coin fast now too!" (9/13)

Both strategies are in most cases a recipe for disaster. Hating on other people's success won’t make you a single buck. Listening to all the "influencers" shilling you a new coin every day after they already bought in won’t either. (10/13)

It is much better to channel this energy into finding the next opportunity. If you missed BAYC, you could have gotten $PEPE. If you missed $PEPE, there will be another opportunity. Do your research tho, and don’t risk more than you are willing to lose. (11/13)

And even then, the feeling of regret will be inevitable. It is always there. So why not embrace it and instead of hating, turn it into productive energy. (12/13)
