Summary
A compilation of Matt Reeves' statements about The Batman Part II from 2022-2025 reveals the sequel will explore deeper corruption in Gotham, put Batman in emotional and physical jeopardy, introduce a never-before-done villain that connects to Bruce Wayne's past, and feature a divided city reflecting modern turmoil. Reeves emphasizes keeping Robert Pattinson's character at the emotional core while maintaining the mystery and detective story elements that defined the first film.
